Tulip Garden Keukenhof Pictures – Keukenhof Tulip Gardens is open from 20 March to 11 May 2025. It’s the best day out among the tulips near Amsterdam! Every year more than 7 million flower bulbs are planted by hand in the fall to bloom in the spring. There is a variety of 800 different tulips. A unique and unforgettable experience for everyone.

Opening Keukenhof 2024
From the 10 kilometer (15 km) walking paths of Keukenhof you have a spectacular view of the flower gardens. During your walk you will see unique, weekly changing flower shows, beautiful ponds and several pavilions with different restaurants and terraces. It’s your chance to take the most beautiful selfie and flower photos. In addition to the large flower garden, the flower park is also the largest sculpture garden in the Netherlands. You can admire many sculptures created by national and international artists.
Keukenhof is also very nice for children. They can enjoy the treasure hunt, the petting zoo, the maze and the playground. For the little ones there is also a Nijntje playground. A visit to the flower park is a nice day out for the whole family.

Visit Keukenhof Tulip And Flower Garden Near Amsterdam
A question we often get is when is the best time to visit the tulip park. Because the flower bulbs are planted in different layers in the park, the flower park is amazing every day in the season. In 2025, the season starts on Thursday 20 March and the last day is Sunday 11 May. There are three different flowering periods.
First period – From the opening, the park will have many blooming flowers. There are some great indoor flower shows with lots of blooming tulips. Outside, daffodils and crocuses are in bloom.
Second period – After the daffodils and crocuses, it is time for the hyacinths and the early tulips to bloom in the outdoor gardens. The indoor flower shows are still amazing with amazing colors.
Third period – In the last period the tulips will bloom in the outdoor gardens. The trees will be green and the flower shows will still feature amazing flowers.

Tickets for Keukenhof Gardens 2025 are best booked online in advance. Tickets are limited and available at the box office and cost €23.00. On busy days, Keukenhof is often sold out and tickets are no longer available at the box office.
When reserving your Keukenhof Gardens tickets, you must select a day and time slot for entering the park. In 2025, Keukenhof operates with a maximum number of tickets per day and arrival time. Keukenhof Gardens is very easy to reach by car. The flower park is located between the cities of Amsterdam, Haarlim, Leiden and The Hague and can be reached from the cities within 30 minutes by car.
At Keukenhof there are two large parking spaces for which you can buy a day ticket for €10.00. You can easily buy your parking ticket when you buy your Keukenhof ticket.
Keukenhof Gardens will work with a maximum number of visitors per day in 2025. When reserving your tickets, you must select a day and time slot for entering the park.
Day trips to Keukenhof are also organized from the cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague. This means that you will travel directly to Keukenhof and back in a luxury bus. On a day trip, a guide is often present to tell you more about the tulips from the Netherlands and Keukenhof.

The Keukenhof Bus is an ideal option for traveling to Keukenhof Gardens. The Keukenhof bus runs from various train stations in the Netherlands and takes you quickly and cheaply to the flower park. With your bus ticket you get bus transport to Keukenhof and back and access to the tulip gardens. The price of the combi-ticket depends on the location of departure. In 2025, it will be mandatory to select a time slot for the Keukenhof bus. This is the time you want the bus at the departure location. If you buy a combi-ticket, you do not have to choose a time slot to enter Keukenhof. You can choose when you want to travel back. It is not necessary to choose a time slot. NOTE: there is a maximum capacity per bus, so reserve your tickets in time!
