Make My Lips Bigger – I love the look of full, pouty lips, but I’m far too commitment-phobic to get injected. Why spend money to have someone stick a needle in your face when you can make your lips look bigger with makeup?
Overlining your lips with liner and lipstick can give the illusion of fullness while allowing you to play with their shape and definition. I wouldn’t say I have particularly thin lips, although they aren’t very defined. Additionally, my upper lip is significantly thinner than my lower lip, which is naturally quite plump. When lining my lips, I like to create a sharper contour while balancing the proportions.
Make My Lips Bigger
If you’ve never tried overlining your lips, it’s not as easy as just applying pencil to the skin. It’s very easy to overdo it or make the liner look too obvious. Today I’m sharing my favorite tips for getting lips that are deliciously tight and look as natural as possible. Keep reading to see how to enlarge your lips with makeup alone!
How To Make Your Lips Look Bigger With Makeup The Right Way
To get this look, you need a lip liner, lipstick, and mattifying powder. The lip liner and lipstick should be a close shade, although the liner may be slightly deeper than the lipstick if that’s all you have. Over the years, readers have asked me here and there if I’ve ever done anything to “improve” my makeup. lips – and the answer is yes! But not in the way you might think… I’ve learned tons of tips and tricks from makeup artists and other women in the entertainment industry to create fuller, poutier lips — without injections. Read my tips below!
My first secret to bigger lips might cause an eye roll or two, but bear with me. We always hear this, but hydration is
The fountain of youth (sorry for the pun). It keeps your skin plumper, smoother and younger, including on your lips. Have you ever had dry, chapped lips due to dehydration? In this case, the skin on your lips has actually shriveled up a bit due to dryness. Drink plenty of water and herbal teas throughout the day for benefits across the board, but it’s the foundation for plump lips. Keep a cute water bottle on your desk all day and download a water app that sends you notifications to remind you to drink!
Not only do you need hydration from the inside out, but adding topical hydration is the second step to getting bigger lips. I’m sure you’ve seen these fun masks floating around social media these days, and they are not only hilarious, but really do wonders on your lips. Not only are they super hydrating, but they add other ingredients like collagen, vitamins, and enzymes that naturally plump your lips. I love doing them in the morning before a shoot to boost my confidence a little.
How To Make Lips Bigger Naturally
In order to have a good canvas to absorb these lip plumping ingredients, you will need to exfoliate your lips from time to time to remove dead skin cells. Your lip masks will be more effective and you’ll love the way lipsticks and glosses sit on your lips after exfoliation. Shop some of my favorites here.
Find a lip liner, lipstick and gloss that match and enhance your natural lip color. Line the lip all the way to the edge, not slightly above, where your lip meets your skin, then line the inside and color the entire lip. The effect is incredible! Plus, it will help your lipstick stay in place all day. Gloss makes lips appear even bigger because the shine catches the light – this combination is my favorite for simulating a bigger pout.
And finally, work with what you naturally have. We’re bombarded all day with images on social media of “perfect” lips, so it’s easy to put yourself down from time to time if you feel like you don’t fit. Believe it or not, some people look better with smaller lips! Confidence is more attractive than anything else, so take care of your lips with the tips above and pucker!

Readers of my blog may know that I’m not the greatest cook in the world – lots of recipes… Let Brigitte Bardot, Angelina Jolie or Kylie Jenner be your poster girl for looks, a bee-stung pout is on everyone’s lips. and with it the liner makes its comeback. With its checkered history in the 80s and 90s, lip liner is now less about color contrast and more about contouring – to undetectably create the illusion of volume.
To DIY fuller lips without looking like a blow-up doll, bareMinerals international makeup artists Sarah-Jane Froom showed online beauty editor Bridget how to enhance her natural lips with these easy-to-follow tips and tricks. The main rule: see the light.
“Lighter colors stand out more to the natural eye. Adding light to your lips will instantly make your lips move forward, making them appear larger,” says Sarah-Jane. “Adding a high shine will enhance the appearance of your lips even more.” Try this:
Cover your lips with foundation or concealer to brighten and highlight the lip contour. Adding light layers around the lips will make the lips look fuller. This also serves as a good base for lipstick. We used bareMinerals Correcting Concealer.

How To Make Your Lips Look Bigger At Home
Finding the perfect nude lip color that suits both your skin tone and your natural lip color can be a challenge. “I tend to look for a lip color that is similar to the natural tone of your lips with a slightly more intense color but not too far from your natural tone” explains Sarah-Jane, with these rules.
“If your lips are pale, you should opt for a cream, sandy, or even light pink nude. Paler skin tones tend to look better wearing nude colors with a pinker undertone, as brown nudes can fade your color. “
“If you have a medium rosy skin tone, then I recommend opting for a brown nude or even a slightly darker rosy nude. Medium skin tones can opt for a rosy nude, slightly more neutral but with a hint of pink.”
“If you have slightly darker skin and your lips are naturally quite dark, I would opt for a darker, more beige nude. A nude with a red/orange undertone can look beautiful. Olive skin tones can opt for a true nude beige – perfect on tanned skin.
